This is a selection of three of my Techno(logy-based) musical compositions in various styles.
"Fathersland" is a piece about my deceased father, and what he means to me. I know it is an unusual artform to express myself -- but I consider myself to be unique in that regard. As such, it came from my heart. I wanted to have a positive yet somewhat eerie, pulsing atmosphere, complete with a sample of my father and I talking sometime before he passed away.
"Gunmetal Tiara" is a very melodic selection that could be categorized as progressive, symphonic breakbeat music. I wanted to combine the feels and vibes of music old and new, so I layered lush string melodies on top of the rushing, abrasive beats in a stark, diverse contrast. As the artist, I feel it turned out true to form.
"Incarna" is short for "incarnation" and it is basically a mellow-er, but still upbeat exploration into a sort of sci-fi, deep space, aural atmosphere. I wanted a deep sound (as space is seemingly infinite) with the tinkles of effected xylophones and the strange reverberations of cosmic effects, all coming together to join in one harmonious place. To me, it was like turning a dream into reality, and this is why I have titled it as such.
